American Slang

Laziness here, feeling like Jonah Goldberg, but since everybody on the Intertrons is smarter than me, it's appropriate to blog-source this:

Going to Nawlins next month.  Good things/people to do/see/eat/drink?

Also, rehab in progress.  New windows just installed:

  1. Go over to Aunt Snow's place, also ask Matt T., if he's hanging out at Sadly Central.

  2. Wow, have fun. I have fiends form collage who lived in New Orleans, but I haven't been communicating that much lately. (Almost like a zombie, he typed.)

  6. Try not to break anything. We're just now getting it put back together after that Katrina fuckhead trashed the place. Something about Russian skaters - you just don't want 'em in your house.

Oh! And if you see a Officer from the Corps of Engineers above the rank of Captain, punch him right in the nose. Or, I guess in your case, go all Zombie Karate up on his ass...

  10. Standin in the sun
    With a Popsicle
    Everything is possible
With a lot of luck and a pretty face
    And some time to waste

  11. I love going to Cafe Du Monde, eating a diabetes-inducing amount of powdered sugar while watching the Mississippi.

Also, if you really want to unleash your inner carnivore, Dickie Breannan's Steakhouse is pretty awesome. I had a bone-in ribeye there once that was one of the best steaks I've ever eaten.

    Have fun!
