The Things You Know

Or the things you worry about as a Jew. She found this a week before Christmas and decided for the very first time to play with it. Never mind it's more than a year old. Ignore that Momma only bought it because it was 90% off and actually for her brother. Just note, a week before Christmas, she found it and left it for Momma to see.

She starts toddler day school on the UWS at Solomon Schechter on Monday. We can live with most things in our family and we try to be restrictive but tolerant without teaching negative messages. And we blame ourselves for finding the toy cute and bringing it into the house in the first place. Though we did not teach the connection. Nevertheless. She is trying to be secular. This was purely directed at her desire to be an American Jew as opposed to how she is being raised -- a Jewish American.

Day School.

Monday.

Thank goodness!

  1. No matter how you try and raise them, they end up hating you before they respect you. that's just how it goes.
