Customer: Now what does this 512MB of RAM mean on this PC?
Salesman: ummmm... RAM is what slows down your PC. See, it rams into your processing power, causing slowdowns. That's why it's called RAM.

ReplyDeleteI thought it was Really Awesome Machineyness...
ReplyDeleteWhat you do is make them count the RAMs on the machine to make sure.
ReplyDeleteAnd then you have to spend twenty minutes declining the extended warranty.
ReplyDeleteRAM is the McCartney album now bundled with every new computer as part of the settlement between the Beatles and Apple.
ReplyDeleteooo, THAT'S going to have a negative impact on Mac sales.
ReplyDeleteIf you are having trouble getting them to understand in the first thirty seconds that they can shove their extended warranty up their ass sideways with a slotted spoon, I'm going to suggest that you're being altogether too polite about that particular conversation.
ReplyDeleteIt's similar to the point when you're buying a car and they want to sell you an $800 undercoat. The faster you bring out the big "FUCK YOU" guns, the faster you'll be on the streets in your new ride.
Y'know? Don't let the man get you down....

ReplyDeleteIn regards to any zombies that may be around, when I say "I have a brain," what I actually mean is "I don't have a brain." Just wanted to clarify that.
RAM is the secret to the Hindu takeover of the tech world. needless to say it's been successful... you think you're being entertained with your internets and computers, but you've all been converted! now you have to worship 30 million gods! AHAHAHAHAHA
