Where This Will Lead

I hate to post above ZRM's post below. What has happened in his neck of the woods is a real turning point in the rights' attack on all citizens. Whether unions win or lose, what is at stake here is who should pay for the Bush Co./Corporate Bullshit of the 2000s. I think we all here agree who that should be...

However, we should not forget this is a nation of connected and empowered people. While Ezra Klein said it best in Newsweek last week that unions may not win or lose, because they won't really gain anything if Walker backs down, what has happened is Democrats and unions have organized and gotten off the apathy wagon. As such, we have the power to collectively take down politicians and corporations. For example, this is a wonderful follow-up to my post from yesterday. If the plaintiffs win, this will create legal standing for the families of Northeastern Pennsylvania and other regions of the United States. more...

    Not to be Debby Downer (or such as), A.G., but Democrats in Wisconsin have organized and gotten off the apathy wagon.

    National Democrats haven't done cr@p. And I think I know why.
