Sing The Greys

Sometimes, you don't even need 3 minutes:

On another day c'mon c'mon
With these ropes I tied can we do no wrong
Now we grieve cause now is gone
Things were good when we were young

With my teeth locked down I can see the blood
Of a thousand men who have come and gone
Now we grieve cause now is gone
Things were good when we were young

Is it safe to say? (c'mon c'mon)
Was it right to leave? (c'mon c'mon)
Will I ever learn? (c'mon c'mon)
(c'mon c'mon c'mon c'mon)

As I make my way c'mon c'mon
These better nights that seem too long
Now we grieve cause now is gone
Things were good when we were young

With my teeth locked down I can see the blood
Of a thousand men who have come and gone
Now we grieve cause now is gone
Things were good when we were young

Is it safe to say? (c'mon c'mon)
Was it right to leave? (c'mon c'mon)
Will I never learn? (c'mon c'mon)
(c'mon c'mon c'mon c'mon)

Is it safe to say? (c'mon c'mon)
Was it right to leave? (c'mon c'mon)
Will I never learn? (c'mon c'mon)
(c'mon c'mon c'mon c'mon)

And know this day these deepened wounds don't heal so fast
Can't hear me croon of a million lies that speak no truth
Of a time gone by that now is through

Weasel-bag Warner Bros won't let me embed the video, which is pretty cool on its own. Which I don't understand; isn't the purpose of the video to promote the band? Like a commercial? And if so, isn't further exposure of teh commercial to be desired?

Record company cob-knockers. No wonder they are dying.

EDITED FOR GREATER FREEDOM.  Anti-record song on recommendation of a Bastard:

I especially love some of the fine axes in the background.

You could always embed the video to "Warner Wonderland" by my great and good friend Jim Keyes:

  3. Last year, saw them play at a street festival a couple of blocks from my house.

thunder is having a mango-based episode.

  4. ITTDGY is quoting from Xenophon's Anabasis. Given his recent preoccupation with mango preparation, I would have expected some lines from the same author's treatise on household management instead, but there you go.

  6. Also I was under the impression that "The Greys" is a musical tradition popular with depressed aliens, especially when their cheatin' woman done left them.

    I thought that was Morrissey.

  10. I don't see any evidence that Morrissey is popular with anything.

A college buddy from Ghana used to jokingly call it a "beeg sexy afro". My hair could have deflected a dropped piano!
