Has anyone tried the new Michelob Ultra flavor: tuscan, orange, grapefruit? Drunking McVideo guy is not trust worthy.

First, I saw the post heading pop up in my blogroll, and I was like, "Cheers!! *hic* Head on over to EotS for Bloodies!"
ReplyDeleteAnd then I see this beer, probably sponsored by the Citrus Fashion Association and promoted by Ghost Melon LLC.
Anyways, I have not tried this beer, I tend to avoid Michelob for some reason. Also, I don't think they should take away his man card.
It should be cut into little tiny pieces!!!one11111!

I was feeling guilty about making fun of the beer without trying it, so I did pick up a six pack at the local Kroger's this afternoon. I even carried it around the store for a little while.
ReplyDeleteBut it had a wine cooler vibe about it, and the St Pauli Girl was on sale for almost the same price, and eventually I switched to the known quantity.

ReplyDeleteThey are trying to compete with the Belgians. Or do they own Michelob? Either way, don't start off with a new-be. Go get a six pack of Hoegaarden and make sure you follow the instructions when you poor it into a chilled GLASS mug. My absolute favorite beer in the world.
