Musical Youth

Since I've been accused of being unfailingly bleak in my world view, I thought maybe I should attempt a post of whimsy and humor.

....but since I suck at whimsy and humor, I'm outsourcing it to the whackjobs at Improv Everywhere.

The folks who brought the Big Freeze to Grand Central Station....

...  also Rocked the Food Court:

I don't need a napkin, thank you.

  1. I've seen the train station one before and I just loved it. But, the food court one takes the cake!! What an awesome group.

  2. Awesome!

    "I can't move my caht!"

I was going to say, I'm guessing your whimsy would still be brimming with dark and brooding. Are you related to the Grimm's?

  3. It's still better than the white boy crap, Bill Patriarchy loves.

    Moldy chili dogz.

  4. Unfailingly bleak? No, though you do have a tendency to exaggerate and to excessively extrapolate.

I like the train station much more than the food court. The food court is quite clearly a pre-arranged event. The train station is just so weird and large scale that you can see people trying to figure out what's up.

  5. The best performance piece they've done was at Starbucks. Several performers set up their computers to take advantage of the wi-fi. Only they don't bring a laptop -they wheel in circa 1995 desktop computers with giant CRT monitors. It's hilarious.

  6. Z-unit, can we get that on the U-Tube action?

    Hook it up, love.

  7. The train station is really great. It's so unsettling to see that many people freezing in place. If you did that at a prayer breakfast, you might be able to spark Rapture hysteria.

I'm even MORE disillusioned. And I still don't care for baseball.
