Turn it On Again

Jeez. Last time, we were arguing about what song Genesis would open with.

Can it be anything but Turn It On Again? Obviously.

Anyway, for Zel-boy, here's an inty with local guitar legend and jazzy-meister Daryl Stuermer. Long discussion about that solo he does on Firth of Fifth.

A couple things to note: Se that thing he says about the Duke Suite? That would be sweet.

Also, note the things he says about joining the band. So I'm not the only one who thinks about it.

  3. You're probably right, bp. Turn It On Again is *not* one of my favorites at all -- but man oh man oh man oh man, if they open with it and that quick strumming starts....1! 2! 3! 4!.........I can just *feel* it now!

    Yay! Yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

I just downloaded Turn It On Again. Totally jamming over here.

    It's driving me mad.

Just another way of passing the day....

  4. How about bringing it Old School?

The hard driving beat of Squonk right out of the gate, or the layered percussion of Mama as the lights go on. Both traditional show openers for that slow-burn build up.

Too obvious. Is this tour going to be obvious? Tell me it won't be obvious. Give me some surprises guys!

Can't do Cloud Cult. But see if you can score a still life. Or maybe an oil painting of happy little clouds.
