Blame It All Senseless

From the Mindless Stubborn Refusal To Acknowledge Reality Department:

The MalAdministration is targeting not only teenagers, but young adults up to 29 with their abstinence propaganda.

Jeez, they put more effort into pandering to the fundies who don't want anybody fucking than they do in trying to enlist all those gung-ho war-hungry College Republicans into the military they are so fond of.

It would be laughable if not for the sickening waste of time, money, as well as the danger this represents.

Danger because rather than providing education so young adults -KEEP IN MIND HERE THAT WE ARE TALKING ABOUT ADULTS, WHO OSTENSIBLY HAVE FREEDOM OF CHOICE - would be having sex with full knowledge and preparedness for the risks, public money is being spent on a program that is of dubious effectivity amongst teens, let alone among people who are not only old enough to make their own damn decisions, they are for the most part keenly interested in sex.

JohnH, Lib Librarian stalwart, once replied in a comment saying that he opposed Democrats because they would spend 'his' money in ways he didn't approve. Well, that cart goes both ways, boyo, and this is one amongst the billions of dollars that these damn Bush league Republicans are spending 'my' money in ways that offend me.

So what are ya gonna do about it John? This is clearly against any Libertarian principles (or even 'small Gov' Republican principles) that exist. For me, I know what I'm doing, and there's some small hope starting next Tuesday.

I love the fact that Election Day is always right after my birthday. It makes it a bit more festive, but it doesn't get ruined when disaster strikes as in 2004 and 2000.

Vote, all you felons and illegal immigrants! After all, the Republicans have gotta have something to blame when they lose, and it certainly can't be the stupid political pandering they do like this 'abstinence' bullshit.
