I'm sorry. That's a real stinker. And I thought Summerfest was nifty. Now Renee's ex will show up, possibly with Jimmy Buffett in tow. It's Milwaukee, not Margaritaville!

ReplyDeleteIf you look at the History, you can see that he and his Dark Minions have tainted the stages at S-Fest far too many times...
Although I'd much rather have the Parrotheads descend than the Faux-Cowboy set (and really, how many people think they are cowboys in Wisconsin? That's soome f---ed up right there)
But we do have our moments - There used to be a band from Madison, Free Hot Lunch (see the sidebar there) that could effortlessly out-margaritaville Buffett, mainly by going for straight tequila. Lost many nights swaying along to 'Tequila Sheila'...
Meanwhile, I can hope for a Mekons appearance, or at least the Wacos.
