Don't worry about the Government.

wacky bastoids at MIT.

I particularly love the serious attitude of this. It's like an ep of Mythbusters.

  1. Nice post, tc. Good to know that scientists have a sense of humor, too.

  2. I would maintain that nearly all science-oriented people I have met have had a wonderful and subtle sense of humor.

To be wholly pedantic, I don't think these guys were so much scientists as engineers.

And speaking from long personal experience, engineers have a wholly weird, fraternal sense of humor, very self-referential. You must also keep in mind that they may have started this effort in all seriousness, and someone from the outside may have had to clue them in to the potential humor.

But these guys are totally off track. All us committed moonbats know that helmets need to be made of sheet lead to effectively block government transmissions.

Helps develop the neck muscles so you look like Henry Rollins, too.
