Jack Montag is my friend...

Friend of mine, fellow liberal traveler in the comments the Libertarian Librarian blog, recently wrote in some comments that he'd be begging off, had more important things to concentrate on than trying to sway some folks of pretty solid rightwing convictions.

Fair enough. As I said at the time, I am much more combative about these things, and I was happy for Jack to have my back while he was willing.

But Steve Gilliard has printed a piece by someone named driftglass that strikes a chord about the whole situation. Maybe Jack can read it through, and maybe consider dropping by to re-join the fray once in a while.
