Call the Waaaaaambulance

George Soros has added his name to a group looking to buy the Washington Nationals.

Not a big deal, right? Billionaire looking to buy a sports team. Happens all the time.

Well, not this time. Congressional Republicans are making thinly veiled threats against the MLB if the sale would go to Soros group. No good reason is given, other than 'MLB shouldn't want to get into a political fight.' They bald facedly admit that this is a political ploy.

What Politics? Soros isn't a politician, right? Wrong. This is nothing more than an attempt to punish him for having the audacity, the nerve, to think that this is America and he has the right to support a non-Republican presidential candidate.

It's simple petulance, the kind of thing you typically see by a particualrly spoiled eight year old.

Remember when the Republicans were going to restore dignity to government? Run it like adults? Ahh, yesterday, it seems so far away....
